Course Learning Fables Fall 2024
5 Fables as a Metaphor for Peter Senge's 5 Learning Principles
We are already entering the third year of the Learning Fables Course. Every year, about ten professionals participate in this course to explore the principles of the learning organization in a playful way.
It success of this course it is the combination of:
short and readable books about our patterns and beliefs when it comes to learning to learn;
all the knowledge and experience that teacher and systems thinker Guus Geisen shares with the participants;
answer the question: "how?" by working with your own case.
We start with a first day on location (central in the Netherlands) where we get to know each other and each other's cases and go through the most important theoretical frameworks with you using a first learning fable. Then we pay attention to the other 4 learning fables in four online sessions.

using the responses our participants give back.
Below you will find a selection of the responses:
"The booklets and Guus's enormous wealth of knowledge and experience are extremely valuable"
"You can get so much out of the fables. I liked that everyone got their own thing out of it. It's also striking how it resonates differently depending on what you're doing. It's nice to keep an open mind and stay curious."
"Nice to work on the ideas with the group/each other"
"I find the most valuable is the exchange based on the fable and making it concrete together"
The total cycle of 1 live startup day + 4 online workshops costs € 645,- (excl. VAT, including 5 booklets, including shipping costs). SOL members receive 15% discount (see link).
